oxygen: an app interface that tracks and manages user stress levels

info c265: interface aesthetics

timeline: 6 weeks

tools: adobe photoshop/illustrator, figma, pinterest

project brief: design a new UI for a wearable device that measures the user’s stress and provides positive feedback to the user. the goal of this device is to turn user’s negative affect (e.g., stress, fear, etc.) into something positive (e.g., relaxed, peaceful) by providing positive visual feedback using typography, color, and layout.

key takeaway: good design makes the experience people have with products and environments not just functional, but emotionally engaging and stimulating. small design decisions have a huge impact on perception!
