↳ Insight: Music taste is foundational to youth identity-building; Spotify Wrapped's reliance on user data provides Gen Z with seemingly objective evidence to validate their desired or perceived identities, as opposed to seemingly subjective alternatives (i.e., curating a public playlist or posting a song to their Instagram story).
